State electoral division

This field is used in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia to show the State Electoral Division in which each CD falls. Other States have used this field in other ways as follows:

Victoria. The first two digits represent the Victorian Legislative Council code and the second two digits represent the Victorian Legislative Assembly code.

Queensland. This field is used to show the State Electoral District in which each CD falls.

Tasmania. As Tasmanian State Electoral Divisions are the same as Commonwealth Electoral Divisions, the Tasmanian State Electoral Division field codes are the same as the Commonwealth Electoral Division codes, except for a prefix of '0', making them four digit codes.
