ABS/AVCC CURF Agreement
A large amount of Australian Bureau of Statistics micro data are now available to staff and students of participating Australian Universities, through an agreement made with the Australian Vice-Chancellors Committee. These files are available as Confidentialised Unit Record Files (CURFs) and available files are listed on the ABS website (www.abs.gov.au). Overseas users may also apply if they have a close and ongoing relationship with a participating Australian university.
ASSDA manages ANU’s access to these files and can be contacted on assda@anu.edu.au to provide assistance and advice. People from other universities should visit the ABS website at www.abs.gov.au to find out more about their local arrangements.
